48th over: Raising his bat to all around the ground, Virender Sehwag walks back to the pavilion after getting a magnificent double ton, 219. One can understand the reaction of the substitute fielder, Anthony Martins, after he grabbed the prized wicket at long-off off Pollard.V Sehwag c sub (A Martin) b Pollard 219 (149b)
44th over: Virender Sehwag raced to his first double century, second overall in ODIs, by square-cutting Andrew Russel. The Nawab of Najafgarh gets to the landmark in just 140 deliveries. It's an impeccable knock, consisting 23 fours and six massive sixes. We hope Sehwag thanks his opposite number, Sammy, after the innings as he dropped a sitter, when Sehwag was on 171.
42nd Over: It doesn't matter who is getting dismissed, this time it's Raina. All that matters is how quickly Sehwag gets to his double ton. Second ever in ODIs after the Master. In the meantime, India touch the 300-run mark in the 40th over. Raina scores 55 off 44 before getting run-out.
38th over: Sehwag is making a mockery of Windies attack, playing both the copybook strokes and the unorthodox ones. Meanwhile, he brings team's 250 in the 33rd over and sets himself up to score the mammoth one - double century - in the batting powerplay.
32nd over: When Sehwag is in such a form, he puts bowlers out of the game. He is taking a special delight in playing the spinners from Sunil Narine and Marlon Samuels.
23rd over: Century for Sehwag! Viru took just 69 balls to reach his 15th ODI ton. But just the next ball, he sold Gambhir the dummy to run him out for an equally quick 67, which gifted West Indies the first wicket at 176 for one.
Gautam Gambhir run out 67 (67)
20th over: There's only one team playing at Indore at the moment. The bowling powerplay (overs 16 to 20) has produced 41 runs but no wicket for the West Indies. It seems as if Sehwag and Gambhir are venting out the anger of their failures of last three ODIs, Hellbent on hitting and pulling it off. India 149 for no loss.
16th over: Carnage! Sehwag brings up his fifty with a six, his fourth, in just 41 balls - just after India reached 100 of the opening partnership. And soon after that, Gambhir brought his half-century in 51 balls. West Indies seem clueless as India reach 116 for no loss.
10th over: Gambhir has joined in the fun! In fact, the left-hander has outscored his right-handed opening partner. Dangerous signs for West Indies at 63 for no loss.
5th over: It's been a mixed first five overs for India. While Sehwag has looked his usual free-flowing-self, Gambhir is scratching around to find his lost touch. The scorecard, as we have got accustomed to with these two opening, has moved rapidly 30 for no loss.
2:15 p.m. It's nice and sunny out here in Indore as the atmosphere builds up with the series still alive. All three matches until now have been close affairs and the crowd is clearly anticipating another thriller.
Toss
Indian skipper Virender Sehwag won the toss and chose to put a score on the board in the fourth ODI against the West Indies here in Indore, where a win for the hosts will give them a series victory while a West Indies victory will make it 2-2, with one match to play.
Team News
The talk at the ground centred around whether Irfan Pathan will get a look in or not. Virender Sehwag cleared all those doubts at the toss, where he confirmed that instead of Irfan's comeback, the Indian think-tank has decided to give legspinner Rahul Sharma a debut.
For West Indies, Darren Bravo's absence was confirmed on the match-eve itself, which has presented an opportunity to Kieran Powell.
